Welcome Darren Reisberg—11th President of Hartwick College

Three days of celebration and special events, October 20-22, marked the installation of Darren Reisberg as Hartwick's 11th president.

Kicking it off was an inspiring conversation with David Axelrod, the preeminent American political strategist and commentator and the former chief strategist and senior advisor to President Barack Obama. The College also hosted an Academic Symposium titled "Bridging the U.S. Rural and Urban Divide: Hartwick College Takes On The Challenge," featuring a panel of Hartwick faculty, staff and students.

Finally, with great fanfare and anticipation, the Hartwick community and honored guests gathered on Frisbee Field in the heart of campus for the main event, The Inauguration of President Reisberg.

In honor of this moment in Hartwick's 225-year history, trustees and friends have initiated The Presidential Innovation Fund.

This fund will provide resources to drive strategic initiatives for the Hartwick College Community. Building on Hartwick College's areas of distinction and designed to promote innovation and impact, the Fund allows Hartwick College to be future-focused—to invest in cutting-edge programs, outstanding faculty and curriculum and overall student success.
